George was a remarkable young boy whose spirit and resilience left a lasting impression on everyone lucky enough to know him.
From the moment I met George, I was struck by his strength, not just physical, but emotional and spiritual , a strength that radiated far beyond what the eye could see.
Our journey began years earlier with his mum, Sarah, who taught me how to swim and first introduced me to a love for the water. That connection came full circle when I had the honor of teaching George to swim, a bond forged through shared moments in the pool and an unspoken understanding between us.
George embraced life fully. He never wasted a moment and met every challenge with a smile. Even as he bravely battled brain cancer, he refused to let it define him. He remained courageous, kind, and full of light.
George taught us all what it means to live boldly, without fear, without hesitation, and with an open heart. His spirit lives on in all who were touched by him. I will forever be grateful for the time we shared and will always carry the memory of that extraordinary boy with me.
